Automatic printservice (Software)

With our "Print Service" you have a powerful tool

You can define different print jobs. An individual folder-path can be specified for each of the jobs.
This path is used to search for files. You can define a part of the name.

If a new file that matches the pattern is saved in this folder, then a variable number of actions can be triggered.
Here you can choose from the following:

• Printing to a specific printer with an adjustable number of copies
• Copying the file to another location - e.g. a connected drive in the cloud
• Copying the file to a remote computer via (S)FTP
• Sending an HTTP post request to a remote service.

In this way, the results service of a regatta can be automated enormously.

For example, if a race is finished but not yet official, then the Results can be automatically printed out once on the printer next to the referee at the finish line.

If the Result is marked as "official", then the official Results can be printed from a number of printers at the regatta venue.
The number of copies to be printed can be set individually for each printer.

After calculating the qualification - which can be done automatically  with the Regattamanager the new Start-List can also be printed out automatically on the printer next to the referee who is to check the results of the qualification-process.

In this way, many things happen "miraculously" automatically - at the click of a button.
