IMAS Start- Ziel- Box

Transmit the Startsignal

Many people have this problem:

How do I get the Startsignal transmitted to the Finish...?

We have a solution:

  • Use an existing network
  • Use directional radio - i.e. WIFI

Our Start- Ziel- Box has integrated PoE for signal transmission via WIFI.
The power required for the radio relay antenna is provided directly via the network cable.

This way, you only need to connect one LAN cable.

Each of our solutions can be operated with a 12V battery or a mains adapter.

At the Finish, the Start- and Finish signals can be processed further electrically via banana sockets.

With a microphone, you can speak to the athletes at any location.

Our Startboxes

As Startbox we offer two variants:

  • The "small" box
Well suited for Canoe and Dragonboat
  • The "big" box
    Especially for Rowing

One or more loudspeakers are connected to each of the cases to make the Startsignal clearly audible.

You can speak to the athletes using a microphone.

At the Finish

The Startsignal is received with the box at the Finish.

PoE is also integrated into the network socket here.
This allows you to connect the WIFI antenna with just one LAN cable.

But this box can do more!

Connect a push-button and a loudspeaker to use the case as the finish-horn.

The Startsignal and also the Finishsignal is then made electrically available via two pairs of banana sockets.

With a connected microphone, you can also make announcements to the athletes at the finish line.
