The camera-system to verify a capsize at the Finish-line
Especially in canoe racing, there is a rule that states that athletes must cross the finish line in a seated position.
With a line-scan camera you cannot guarantee this requirement for any situation.
For this reason a "field" camera is required which must be aligned at the finish-line as well.
Our solution can connect to and operate several kinds of cameras.
We permanently record and store what happens at the finish line for approximately one hour.
You can easily rewind asynchronously compared to the recording - the Capsize system continues to record anyway.
This system is integrated into our Timesystem, so you have access to the races. Now you easily can go back to your desired finish-sequence.
Our software can connect to various kinds of cameras.
AI Support
AI offers many possibilities these days. We have taken advantage of this - to recognize the boats automatically.
This can be used for various things. For example, we can use it to trigger our finish horn automatically when a boat crosses the finish line.
It also allows a cool show for the TV graphics:
When a boat crosses the finish line, then the corresponding flag flies into the picture of the virtual graphic...
To do this, the Capsize software is simply linked to the TV graphics control software.
