As a component in our Timesystem, the RegattaManager is used to plan the entire event.

This begins with the creation of a new regatta, the transfer, import or manual entry of all relevant data and ends with the generation and provision of the Results and its evaluation.

Data


The RegattaManager is very flexible.

You can get the required data such as clubs / nations, athletes, entries and the schedule into the program in various ways. 
For example:


External files can have a wide variety of formats.
But our flexible import service can be customized by a suitable description of the format in the file. 

You can also combine the various data sources and adjust everything manually at any time.

Prepare the Start-lists


The Start-lists can be created in different ways. Some variants are:

  • Manual seeding "by hand"
  • Automatic drawing randomly
  • Seeding by applying external qualifikation-list 
    (Here you will need an external file to determine your desired ranking)

But even if the Start-list was generated automatically - everything can be adjusted or changed manually at any time.

There is a particularly suitable display of the data and Start-lists for each use-case. 
For example, the "Teamleader-Meeting".

During the regatta


When everything is prepared you may start your competition.

Events from the Start and timekeeping influence the status of the races. 
This is indicated by different colours.

Context menus and automation options make it easy to process most use cases.

Here are some samples:

  • Create the Results-protocol as PDF
  • Calculate the qualification - for example after the Heats of one event are finished
  • Publish the Results on our Online-Results

  • Publish the newly generated Start-lists after doing the qualification-process

Automatic


Our RegattaManager offers a high degree of automation.

If activated, the Results PDF can be generated automatically, for example, after a race has been finished in the timekeeping. This Result, which is not yet official, then can be automatically printed out on paper with the printer next to the referee at the finish line using Print Service .

If the Result is marked as official, an "official" result is generated as a PDF
This can also be printed out automatically - maybe on other printers...

Once all heats of a race event are official, the qualification can be calculated automatically. This means that the Start-lists for the other heats, such as the Semi-Finals or Finals, are available. A new PDF is now generated automatically - it is the new Start-list. Now again, this can be printed automatically - preferably at the printer next to the referee who is to check the new Start-list.

When the referee gives "OK", then you can comfortably public the Start-lists on our Online-Results with only a few clicks. 
Now everybody can see them.

After the regatta


At the end of a regatta, usually summaries and analyses are generated.

For example, a PDF with all or selected Results can be conveniently generated and then uploaded to the Online Results page. All in just a few simple steps.

Furthermore you can generate Medal-tallies.

In addition, the manager offers various formats for exporting the Results - depending on the association (DRV, DKV, ICF, ...)
