Our small Startsystem for Rowing - Lights, Horn, Startsignal
Our small launch system - ideal for rowing
- 6 or more lanes
- At each lane the is attached a pressure chamber loudspeaker - for the startsignal and to speak to the athletes
- Daisy-Chain principle for cabling - like fairy-lights
- Autarkic usage via 12V batteries is possible
- LED Lights "red / green" in a lightweight aluminium case

The Startbox
Our startbox controls the Start area.
Here you connect all the required components:
- Lights (red / green) and speakers
- Yellow lamp (2 minutes signal for Rowing)
- Microphone
- 12V electrical power via battery or power-supply
The integrated amplifier can provide sound for up to 9 lanes simultaneously.
Our startbox can also transmit the Start-signal to the Finish via LAN.
Directed WIFI can also be used.
Our directional radio antennas (WIFI) work with PoE, so that only one cable is required. Thanks to the directional radio, a range of over 2 km is guaranteed.
Green
Together with the acoustic Start-signal, the light switches to "green".
After a short time it will be switched off automatically.
Red
With the signal "Attention" and also during False-start, the light switches to "red".
The "Attention" remains until the Starter gives an other signal.
During False-start the red light is flashing multiple times together with the horn. It will be switched off automatically after some periods.
Speakers
Our pressurised chamber loudspeakers provide directional sound.
So the Starter, the Start-signal and even the False-start can be heard very clearly.
Cabling
Our cables can be used universally and are available in various lengths.
All required signals pass through here:
The control of the lights and also the sound of the loudspeaker.
Yellow lamp
For Rowing, this light is switched on 2 minutes before the scheduled start to signal to the athletes that the race is about to start soon.
After a short time after the Start-signal it will be switched off automatically.
Sound
The microphone allows the starter to speak comfortably to the athletes.
Thanks to ELA technology, long cable lengths are also possible.
At the Finish
The Start-signal can be transmitted to the Finish.
Either directly into our Timesystem, or to our receiving box at the Finish.
This not only receives the Start-signal, it provides the signal via a pair of banana-sockets and it can act as Finish-Horn.
And because it needs an amplifier to function as a Finish-Horn, we have also equipped our box with a microphone connection!
It is also powered with 12V - you can choose: via battery or PSU.
It is also equipped with a LAN connection with PoE for receiving the Start-signal. This means that the WIFI antenna can be connected with just one cable.
Finish-Horn
A corresponding push-button is required for the function as Finish-Horn.
Our pusher sits comfortably in the hand and has an excellent feel.
The pressure chamber loudspeaker can easily be placed in a more distant location using our universal cable.
Our box not only provides the Finish-signal via an acoustic beep, but also via another pair of banana sockets - like the Start-signal.
Battery
You can choose: PSU, powered by fixed installation or
12V battery or
via Power-Station.
