TV Graphics and control
This system generates TV graded graphics via HDMI or SDI
Our system consists of two components:
- The Backend and
(Generates the outputs) - The Frontend
(Control software)
The backend generates the final output-signal: HDMI or SDI.
Here are all possible graphic-variants available. Like: Startlists, Results, Lower-Thirds, ....
Depending on the requirements, one or more of these graphics can be triggered and filled with the correct content.
That's what the frontend is for. It is directly integrated into our Timesystem and has access to all the relevant data for all races at all times.
This is used to do the control.
There are many different graphics to choose from. Here is a small selection:
Startlist
The Startlist is available in several versions:
As an almost full screen and as a "Small Startlist" to be displayed on the side.
At international regattas, usually the national flag is displayed.
The logos of the clubs can also be displayed for national regattas.
Results
The layout of the Result matches the Startlist.
Lower-Third
The lower-trird is specific for a lane that currently is in the focus of the camera.
This is usually used to present the athletes.
As a special feature, we can display a picture or video of the athlete or the entire team (BIB).
The lower-third is also used to display information about the athlete/boat that has won the current race.
As soon as the timekeeping provides a result, it can be shown here as a "Winner" graphic.
BIBs - individual athlete videos
Especially in the "lower third" the show can enormously be improved, when a short individual video is shown for the athlete who is currently shown.
This can be done fully automatically with a little preparation!
Powerful tools
Preparing the BIBs can be quite stressful.
We have simplified this work by providing some tools to adapt your library of videos or images to the data structure of the current regatta.
Unfortunately, in the case of a team, there are rarely individual videos.
To do this, you can use our control software to automatically generate a corresponding team image in the correct seating order - automatically for all teams!
The individual images of the team's members are used, normalized and put together appropriately.
In addition, an AI can also be used here to automatically remove annoying backgrounds from the athlete images - for all athletes at once...
Photo-Finish
The "Photo-Finish" image from the timekeeping can also be conveniently displayed here - if it is allowed ;)
Of course you want to see and evaluate beforehand whether it is worth showing this picture at all. That's why there's a "preview".
Streamdeck
Control the graphics easily and conveniently with a Streamdeck from elgato.
Depending on the status of the graphics system, the buttons are labelled with suitable images. This means you always have a complete overview.
- You can navigate through the races - forwards and backwards.
- You can show/fade-in and hide/fade-out the individual graphics.
- If you have selected a graphic that is specific to a lane,
you can then select the lane.
Many degrees of freedom
Our control software offers many degrees of freedom.
This allows you to influence the layout of each graphic down to the smallest detail
and also specify the content to be displayed for each graphic.
To make the preparation easier, there are templates for different types of regattas.
